  7. The UXIO is a complete X.25 communication protocol-based terminal driver
  8. providing a standard UNIX/XENIX tty interface. It facilitates built-in support
  9. of standard communication programs including stty, getty, cu, uucd, login,
  10. rlogin, and 500+ terminal packages. The UXIO implements full X.25 CCITT
  11. protocol and X.3/X.28/X.29 PAD support over packet-switched networks. ``Modem"'
  12. control is provided through Hayes-based ``AT'' strings for dialing-out, remote
  13. dial-ins, and PAD control. The UXIO operates without interrupts and provides
  14. concurrent operation of up to 12 coprocessor-based 5502 SDLA adapters, each
  15. operating up to 255 logical channels at line speeds of up to 64 KB.
